In November 2011, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Slovenia, Finland and the Netherlands met in Amsterdam to finalize the negotiations for Eurojackpot. Estonia later decided to join as well. The first draw took place on March 23^rd, 2012. Since then, several more countries have joined Eurojackpot, including Spain, Croatia, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Hungary. In October 2014, a change was made in the game, increasing the numbers in the smaller set from 8 to 10, thus decreasing the odds of winning the jackpot.
