SuperEnalotto is a lottery played in Italy since December 3rd, 1997; before that, there was the celebrated Italian lottery – ‘ENA Lotto’, which has existed since the 1950s.

In 1997, the SISAL, an Italian lottery operator who has worked with the Italian government for over 60 years, changed the ‘ENA Lotto’ lottery ‘to create the SuperEnalotto.

The SuperEnalotto is one of the most attractive lotteries since the jackpot is not capped, which led in 2010 to a record jackpot of 177,800,000 Euros after more than 8 months without a winner. This allows the build-up of huge jackpots!

Italian SuperEnaLotto lottery is a “mutual betting” type of lottery of where the total jackpot amount divided among the winners is determined by the amount of tickets sold and represents 34.648% of the money raised.

Drawings are held three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.


How to play the SuperEnalotto Lottery ?

Players must choose 6 numbers in a grid comprising numbers between 1 and 90. The SuperEnalotto lottery drawings usually take place in Rome where six numbers are drawn. The bonus number (Jolly) is not selected by the players and serves only to win the 2nd prize.

There are five levels of prizes and the winning amount varies depending on the combination of numbers and the bonus number you choose. Statistically one of 318 tickets is a winning ticket.

In October 2008, a jackpot of € 100,756,196 ($129,753,830.88) was won by a single ticket in the city of Catania.

On February 9th, 2010, the lucky ticket holder won a jackpot of € 139,022,315.
